Samsung is preparing for its much-anticipated annual Galaxy Unpacked event, where the latest and most innovative products in its lineup will be unveiled. The 2024 edition of this event is particularly exciting, as it will take place in Paris on July 10 at 3 PM CEST (6:30 PM IST). For those eager to watch the event unfold live, it will be streamed on Samsung’s social media platforms, including YouTube and X (formerly known as Twitter), as well as on the company’s official website.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is set to bring significant upgrades and enhancements over its predecessor. This foldable phone will feature a large 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display, offering vivid colours and deep blacks. The outer display, a 6.3-inch screen, will also provide a seamless experience, with both screens expected to feature a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming. Both displays will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, ensuring durability.

The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, promising high performance and efficiency. It will run on Android 14, customised with Samsung’s One UI 5. The camera setup is expected to be impressive, with a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera capable of 3x optical zoom. The cover display will likely house a 10MP selfie camera, while the inner display could feature a 4MP under-display camera for a seamless viewing experience.
