 'Wherever you go, make a...'

In the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, host and megastar Amitabh Bachchan gave a piece of advice to all married couples.

Contestant Dipali Soni shared her love story with her husband and he revealed that despite being an arranged marriage, they fell in love with each other soon. They have been together for 25 years and often make reels whenever they go out for vacation.

Reacting to this, Big B advised that every married couple should make reels whenever they go out for a vacation as such practices keep romance alive. Bahut acha aapne idea dia hai pati patniyo ko. Bhaiya jitne bhi pati patni hai aap log, jaha jitne bhi hai, jaha kahi bhi ghoomne jaye, ek bana dijiyega reel. (It’s a great idea for couples. Wherever you go, make a reel!)” said the Kalki 2898 AD star.

This advice from Big B came amid the rumours of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya’s divorce, which have been grabbing the headlines for quite sometime.

Abhishek and Aishwarya have been garnering headlines since their separate arrivals at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s star-studded wedding. While the rumours of their separation escalated further when Junior Bachchan liked a post on Instagram, which talked about divorce.

The post liked by Abhishek Bachchan was shared by author Heena Khandelwal, it featured an image of broken hearts and wrote, “When love stops being easy. Couples who have been married are now parting ways. What has prompted their decision and why are grey divorces on the rise?”

“Divorce is never easy for anyone. Who doesn’t dream of a happily ever after or envision recreating those heartwarming videos of elderly couples holding hands as they cross the street? Yet, sometimes life doesn’t unfold as we hoped. But how do people cope when they separate after decades together, after spending a significant portion of their lives relying on each other for both big and small things? What drives them to sever ties, and what challenges do they face? This story delves into these questions. Coincidentally, ‘grey divorces’ or ‘silver splitters’—terms for those seeking marital dissolution typically after age 50—are on the rise globally. The reasons, though varied, are not surprising,” the post read.
