Amid divorce rumours, Abhishek Bachchan disables comment section in his latest Instagram video post congratulating Neeraj Chopra at Paris Olympics 2024

After sharing pics while enjoying at the Paris Olympics 2024, Abhishek Bachchan recently shared a video on Instagram comprising moments from the prestigious sports event and even congratulating Neeraj Chopra.

Sharing the video, Junior Bachchan wrote, It was amazing to get to witness the #parisolympics2024 with my friends from #Omega. We’ve worked together for about 18 years and their attention to detail and timekeeping has always awed me. The energy in the entire city was palpable and especially in the stadiums. And then to have the honour of seeing our very own @neeraj____chopra was the icing on the cake. Seeing our beloved tricolour in the stadium was a moment of such pride!!! Felt like.…Paradise."

However, what grabbed our eyeballs is that the actor has disabled the comment section of this post. This might have happened as netizens have asked about Aishwarya’s absence from the event.

Abhishek and Aishwarya have been garnering headlines since their separate arrivals at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s star-studded wedding. While the rumours of their separation escalated further when Junior Bachchan liked a post on Instagram, which talked about divorce.

The post liked by Abhishek Bachchan was shared by author Heena Khandelwal, it featured an image of broken hearts and wrote, “When love stops being easy. Couples who have been married are now parting ways. What has prompted their decision and why are grey divorces on the rise?”

“Divorce is never easy for anyone. Who doesn’t dream of a happily ever after or envision recreating those heartwarming videos of elderly couples holding hands as they cross the street? Yet, sometimes life doesn’t unfold as we hoped. But how do people cope when they separate after decades together, after spending a significant portion of their lives relying on each other for both big and small things? What drives them to sever ties, and what challenges do they face? This story delves into these questions. Coincidentally, ‘grey divorces’ or ‘silver splitters’—terms for those seeking marital dissolution typically after age 50—are on the rise globally. The reasons, though varied, are not surprising,” the post read.
