Ahead of the big-fat wedding, the sangeet ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant was held yesterday at NMACC in Mumbai and it turned out to be a star-studded affair.

While Salman Khan set the stage on fire with his performance on Aisa pehli baar hua hai along with Anant Ambani , Deepika Padukone stole the show as she cradled her baby bump and shared her pics tagging Ranveer Singh, “Just… coz it’s a Friday night and (a baby angel emoji) wants to party!!!” The 83’ actor commented, “Hayyyye! My beautiful birthday gift! I love you.”
Deepika has been garnering praises for her portrayal in Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan starrer Kalki 2898 AD. Talking about a particular scene in the film, Saswata Chatterjee told News18, “There is a scene in the film where I drag her by the hair. It was part of the last leg of the shoot and was shot in Mumbai because Deepika was pregnant by then. Ranveer came on set wearing an ensemble that was orange from top to bottom – tee, pants and shoes! He radiates such an infectious positive energy – he just can’t stand in one place! There was a lot of physical tussle in the scene, so I told Ranveer, ‘Don’t worry, for more physically challenging scenes, there’s a body double.’ He was so polite and humble. He smiled and said, ‘I know, Dada.’”
