How Vicky Kaushal starrer will get affected by Allu Arjun's pan-India biggie at the box office? Trade expert opines

The makers of Vicky Kaushal & Rashmika Mandanna starrer Chhava attached the teaser of their epic war drama with Stree 2. While watching the Rajkummar Rao & Shraddha Kapoor starrer, when Vicky arrived on the screen as fierce Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the audience cheered and clapped with enthusiasm.

The glimpse turned out to be an epic affair and now fans are eagerly waiting for the Chhava teaser to release on YouTube. While the Laxman Utekar directorial will undoubtedly open big in Maharashtra, it is clashing with the most-anticipated pan-India film of the year, Pushpa 2, which features Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil (another Rashmika Mandanna starrer).

In an ideal situation, Chhava should avert a clash with Pushpa 2 as the latter looks big considering its craze and buzz. Talking about the scenario, Akkshay Rathie, Director, Aashirwad Theatres Pvt Ltd and prominent trade expert told us, “The thing is, 6 December is still far away and we don’t know what’s going to happen in terms of release dates. For these films sticking to when they are or whatever else then I’m sure that between now and then the producers of the two films will make sure that they do whatever it takes to optimize the release of these films.”

“But the simple reason is that again, December is a cluttered month but there are enough and more release dates before and after which can be taken if required. And neither of the two films, if any of them decide to move it won’t be because they got scared of the other or anything of the sort. It is purely because every filmmaker who’s practical, who’s sensible and who thinks from logic and rationality rather than ego will do whatever it takes to give his or her best possible release and numbers. So I’m truly hopeful that between now and 6 December something changes and both the films can do justice to their potential at the box office,” he added.
