From Akshay Kumar's 'Sarfira' to Riteish Deshmukh's 'Kakuda' on Zee5, what to watch this weekend in cinemas and on OTT

It’s an exciting time to be a content geek as there’s a wide spectrum of releases on OTT and in cinemas this weekend. Here’s what to watch and where:

Sarifra - Cinemas

It is a delightful to see  Akshay Kumar  back in full form after a dry spell. Sarfira is a true story of resilience and determination. And most importantly all you need for a film to be successful is a good director and a story that touches your heart and Sarfira has ticked all those boxes.

Indian 2- Cinemas

After 28 years, director Shankar has brought back his Senapathy and this time his mission is bigger, broader and tougher. While the trailer and songs have garnered immense response, does it fulfil the sky-high expectations of the cinegoers? Find out this weekend.

Kakuda- Zee5

Director Aditya Sarpotdar, who is known for making Zombivli and Munjya, has come up with another folklore story in the form of Kakuda. The story revolves in Rathodi village, which is cursed by Kakuda (a dwarf ghost). Every house in the village has two doors with one being normal and another being small.

Pill - JioCinema

The series endeavours to unravel the inner workings of the pharmaceutical industry, responsible for our everyday well-being. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies and created by Raj Kumar Gupta, PILL also stars actor Pavan Malhotra in a pivotal role.

36 Days- SonyLIV

Directed by Vishal Furia, “36 Days” unravels a gripping narrative set in Goa where a picturesque neighborhood is shattered by unsettling events. The series promises a compelling blend of mystery, suspense, and standout performances.

Showtime - Disney Plus Hotstar

A lot of chaos already happened in part one of Disney Hotstar’s Showtime. The restlessness looms large in the remaining episodes too that have dropped four months after we saw the first four.
