What Sen said after beating Prannoy?

After the pre-quarterfinals win, Sen said. “I think it was a good match. Playing him on the biggest stage, it was so nice that India played each other.

“I can take some good things from this match, maybe even some things I can improve on. I think it’s going to be a tough match against a tricky opponent, so I will have to prepare well. As of now, I am just focusing on that match.”

Sen faces Chinese Taipei’s Chou Tien Chen, seeded 12th, in the quarter-final tomorrow.

Diksha’s father and caddie Col Naren Dagar, her mother, and her brother were in the car at the time of the accident. Their car was hit by another vehicle on Tuesday night when they were returning from a function at India House. Diksha’s mother has been hospitalised with a suspected injury in spinal area.
