India have sent 117 athletes to Paris Olympics 2024 who will compete across 16 sports. The Indian contingent includes five former Olympic medal winners – Neeraj Chopra, PV Sindhu, Mirabai Chanu, Lovlina Borgohain, and the men’s hockey team. The contingent included 70 male and 47 female athletes.

The highest representation comes from athletics who are sending 29 athletes while 21 shooters will take part in the Paris Games.
Apart from the former medal winners, the other big Indian names at the Paris Games are Rohan Bopanna, Nikhat Zareen, and Manu Bhaker among others.
India started their campaign even before the 26 July opening ceremony with the individual ranking round in archery on 25 July. Officially, India kick off their camping on 27 July with the 10m air rifle mixed team event.

The 2024 Summer Olympic Games will finish on 11 August.
Overall, India have won 35 medals including 10 gold, nine silver, and 16 bronze in the Summer Olympics. They won seven medals at the last Tokyo Olympics in 2021 which is the highest for the country in a single edition of the Games.
