After winning their first medal in the Paris Olympics 2024, India will have a chance to win at least two more on Day 3 of the Summer Games on Monday. India won their first medal on Sunday with Manu Bhaker winning a historic bronze medal in women’s 10m air pistol. She became the first female shooter from India to win a medal in the Olympics.

On Monday, Ramita Jindal will have an opportunity to become the second female medal-winning shooter as she is set to take part in the women’s 10m air rifle final. Arjun Babuta can become the first male medal winner at the Paris Olympics if he manages to reach the podium in the 10m air rifle final.

Bhaker will also be in action as she will take part in the 10m air pistol mixed team qualification, pairing up with Sarabjot Singh. Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Singh Cheema will be the second pair in the event from India.
Also in action will be the Indian men’s archery team who qualified directly for the quarter-finals with an impressive show in the ranking round.

In badminton, Ashwini Ponnappa-Tanisha Crasto and Lakshya Sen will be back for their group-stage matches.
The men’s hockey team will take on Argentina in a Pool B match in the evening.
