India will hope for their first gold medal of the Paris Olympics 2024 on Saturday as Manu Bhaker gets ready for her third final, this time in the women’s 25m pistol event.
Manu Bhaker, who has already won two bronze medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics Games in 10m air pistol events (individual and mixed team), will look to make history with her third and hopefully a gold in a final that starts at 1 PM IST.
Also in action will be Deepika Kumari and Bhajan Kaur in the women’s archery individual events. By reaching the bronze medal match, Ankita Bhakat and Dhiraj Bommadevara have raised the expectations from the Indian archers, and Deepika and Bhajan will look to put in a memorable performance.

Other major events include Nishant Dev taking on Marco Verde of Mexico in the men’s welterweight boxing quarter-finals and a victory in that bout will see the Indian secure at least a bronze.
