In the qualifying stage of the mixed team competition, the combination of Chauhan and Naruka shot a total of 146 points spread across three series of 49, 48 and 49.

Maheshwari shot 24, 25 and 25 in her three series of shots on the day. Naruka, meanwhile, posted 25, 23 and 24.

With their score of 146 points, the Indian pairing finished fourth out of the 15 teams.

The top-two teams - Italy and the USA - qualified for the gold medal match and India, China went into the bronze medal clash.
