The Paris Games will then conclude on Sunday with a grand closing ceremony, in which shooter Manu Bhaker and hockey goalkeeper PR Sreejesh will be India’s flag-bearers. Bhaker shot to superstardom by winning two bronze medals in three events while Sreejesh called time on his career in style after helping India win men’s hockey bronze for the second consecutive time in the Olympics.

The closing ceremony will also witness the official handover of the Olympics from Paris to Los Angeles, which hosts it for the third time in 2028, and Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise will reportedly perform a stunt in that event.

Here’s everything you need to know about the business end of the 2024 Paris Olympics:

What are India’s remaining events in the last two days of the Paris Olympics?

Wrestler Reetika Hooda will be the final Indian athlete in action at the Paris Olympics. She will be in action on Saturday in the women’s 76kg event, and will fight for one of the medals on Sunday if she wins all of her bouts on Saturday, or advances via repechage.

The final day of the Paris Olympics will witness medals being distributed in women’s marathon, men’s handball, women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, women’s modern pentathlon as well as in several weight classes of wrestling in both men’s and women’s categories.

The final medal handed out before the closing ceremony will be the women’s basketball gold and silver at 7 pm IST on Sunday.
