Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal announce the arrival of their baby girl

Fukrey franchise stars Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, who were set to embrace parenthood, have announced the arrival of a baby girl.

In a statement that was issued by the couple, they said, “We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24! Our families are over joyed and we thank our well wishers for their love and blessings!”

Just recently, the Heeramandi actress shared the pics on her social media and revealed the reason for deactivating the comments section for these special images.

“What can a love so pure bring forth into the world, but a beam of light? Thank you for being my partner on this incredible journey @alifazal9, through this lifetime and many more, through star lights and galaxies… thank you for getting genius @ridburman to shoot us in our natural habitat (dart emoji) @gulati.kanika.”

She added, “May we bring forth a warrior of light, a child of compassion, empathy, healing and above all love. Ameen! (hamsa emoji).” Followed by a Sanskrit verse translated as, “Aum! That is infinite, and this (universe) is infinite. The infinite proceeds from the infinite. (Then) taking the infinitude of the infinite (universe), It remains as the infinite alone. Aum! Peace! Peace! Peace!”

“Comments are off, because this is the most private thing I have posted (heart emoji),” the actress revealed the reason while concluding the post.

The two met on the sets of  Fukrey in 2012 and subsequently, love blossomed between them. Almost four years after being together, Ali proposed to Richa in Maldives back in 2019 and she said yes. A source, back in 2020, told Times of India, “The two first met on the set of Fukrey in 2012 and have been friends ever since. They started dating in 2015, made their relationship public in 2017 and now, they are all set to take the big leap.”
