Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly traveling to the U.S. for an urgent eye surgery after things didn’t go as planned in Mumbai, reported Bollywood Hungama.

Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) had gone to a hospital in Mumbai on Monday, July 29 for an eye treatment. The treatment didn’t go as planned. SRK is now being rushed to the USA to rectify the damage," source told the portal.

Earlier this year, Khan was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday after suffering from a heat stroke, according to the police. He was admitted to multi-speciality KD Hospital, they said. “Actor Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to KD Hospital after suffering from a heat stroke,” Ahmedabad (Rural) Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat said.

And speaking exclusively to Showsha, actor and Khan’s close friend Juhi Chawla said, “ Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals.” The finals of IPL 2024 will happen in Chennai on May 26 between Kolkata Knight Riders and the winner of the match between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The actor was in Ahmedabad on Tuesday to attend an Indian Premier League (IPL) match of his Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team at the Narendra Modi Stadium. His daughter Suhana has and son AbRam had accompanied the actor who greeted fans after the match and interacted with the cricketers. The trio even celebrated after KKR bear Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the match.

Gauri Khan rushed to Ahmedabad to be by his side.
