GIFT Nifty, around 8:30 am on Tuesday, was up 54.5 points or 0.23 per cent at 23,287, indicating a positive for the Indian stock market on June 11. India VIX index, an indicator of volatility in the market, was down 0.49 points or 2.87 per cent at 16.40.

The global cues remained mixed. While US stock market performed well on Monday, with Nasdaq and S&P 500 noting record closings, Asian shares were largely muted in the early trade on Tuesday.

In India, ahead of the market opening, here’s a look at some stocks that are expected to keep the bourses buzzing.

BPCL: According to a report by Economic Times, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) is planning on setting up a new 12 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA) refinery. The company is likely to invest around Rs 50,000 crore in the project.

Raymond: Raymond Realty, the real estate arm of Raymond Group on Monday announced that it has been selected for the redevelopment of the MIG VI CHS Ltd residential project in Bandra East, Mumbai. The project is estimated to generate a revenue of more than Rs 000 crores over the project period.

RVNL: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), on Monday announced that the Siemens-RVNL Consortium has received Letter of Acceptance from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd for “Engineering, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 33 KV Distribution, 750V DC Third Rail Traction Electrification including Traction Substations, Auxiliary Substations and SCADA System for Phase-2A & Phase 2 B.” The project will stretch across 2.5 years, and is worth roughly Rs 764 crore.

Tata Chemicals: The ex-date date for Tata Chemicals’ final dividend of Rs 15 is June 12. On this date, the stock will trade without the dividend. To receive the final dividend of Rs 15 per share from Tata Chemicals, investors must purchase the stock before the ex-dividend date, meaning they need to be holding the shares at the end of the trading day on June 11.

Jubilant Foodworks: Jubilant Foodworks on Monday announced that Domino’s has opened its 2000th store in the country. The company highlighted its accelerated expansion in India, stating that “While the first 500 stores in the country took over 16 years, the last 500 have come only in 29 months.” Domino’s Pizza India has a network spread across 421 cities. India is the largest market outside of the US in the global Domino’s network.

PTC: PTC Industries Limited has announced its partnership with leading entities under the Defence Testing Infrastructure Scheme (DTIS) scheme in the Indian Defence and Aerospace sector to advance the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
