The GIFT Nifty, on Friday (July 19) around 8:45 am, was up 6.5 points or 0.03 per cent at 24,860. Ahead of the opening bell, the index hinted at a flat start for Dalal Street. The India VIX, a measure of volatility in the stock market, was up 2.02 per cent at 14.51.

Here’s a look at stocks to watch today:

Infosys: The tech giant, on Thursday (July 18) reported its results for the first quarter of the financial year 2025 (Q1FY25). It reported net profit at Rs 6,368 crore, up 7.1 per cent on-year, beating D-Street estimates.

L&T Technology Services (LTTS): The company retained its full-year revenue growth forecast of 8-10 per cent. However, it missed quarterly revenue expectations on Thursday due to prolonged weakness in its key US market.

Dr Reddy’s: The pharmaceutical company has signed a non-exclusive patent licensing agreement with Takeda Pharmaceutical Company to commercialise Vonoprazan tablets in India. Vonoprazan is a novel gastrointestinal drug and is a next-generation treatment for gastro duodenal ulcers and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Previously, Zydus Lifesciences had announced the signing of a similar document with Takeda.

Bondada Engineering: The company has received work orders from KPI Green Energy and Pace Digitek Infra amounting to roughly Rs 65 crore.

CEAT: The company’s profit jumped 7 per cent to Rs 154.2 crore year-on-year, while its revenue increased 8.8 per cent to Rs 3,192.8 crore year-on-year.

Wipro, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Paytm: These are among the many companies releasing their Q1FY25 results on July 19.
