Actor-comedian-filmmaker Sunil Pal, who shared screen-space with Khan in the 2014 ‘Kick’ and starred in many other Hindi films, slammed Karan Johar for his participation in the 2015 AIB Roast, his questions on Koffee With Karan, and supposedly mocking the LGBTQ community. He also questioned Akshay Kumar for endorsing pan masala and guthka.
Pal further criticised the star culture and said, “I have done over over 17 films out of which many of them are yet to find a release. The actors are also selfish who refuse to promote them once they get their pay-cheque. The media also feels why we should interview them.” All these revelations were made by Pal in an interview with India Asks.
“I was offered a show by ALT Balaji where they asked me to play a Madrasi but there were expletives involved, I turned it down since I would not like to abuse on screen,” Pal further stated, schooling actors like Manoj Bajpayee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui for their on-screen profanity.
Karan recently took to his Instagram stories and shared a hilarious lengthy note in Hindi talking about changing the external body.
The filmmaker wrote: “Fillers laga lo fulfilment nahin milti…Make up laga lo umar hai ghat thi (Applying fillers doesn’t bring fulfillment… applying makeup doesn’t make you younger).”
Karan added: “Karlo jitna bhi Botox, lagoge jaise madhumakkhi ne kaat liya… Naak badalne se gand itar nahi banti (No matter how much Botox you do, you’ll end up looking like a fly stung you).”
“Going under the knife se exterior _badal bhi jaaye… Lekin meri jaan…Fitrat nahi badalti (_Going under the knife will only change your exterior and not your nature).”
