Ever since Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s ex-husband Naga Chaitanya announced his engagement with Sobhita Dhulipala, the Shaakuntalam actress has been in the spotlight.

Amid this, an old video of Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s wedding has surfaced on social media, where the actress is making an emotional promise to the Bangarraju star.

The old video is from their white wedding, where Sam has donned a beautiful gown and NC is seen in a black tuxedo.

In the video, Samantha breaks down and says, “Like how all arguments will be resolved without a change of tone and how I’m never allowed to get away with anything by crying. But because of you I can feel myself slowly and surely becoming what I have always dreamt of being. You are the greatest man I have ever known and I know that one day you will be a perfect father to our beautiful child. I’ll choose you in a hundred lives and a hundred worlds and in any reality. I choose you.”

Reacting to the video, one fan wrote, “At least he would have hug her while she was crying becz true man can’t see tears in her women,” while another commented, “Those who loves truly gets broken in life whether it me women or men”.

In October 2021, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya shared a joint statement to announce their separation. The note read, “To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thank you for your support.”
