Realme’s fairly recent Narzo 70 5G is a very good option in this budget. It flaunts a 50MP primary camera that does a commendable job in this segment, and is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. You also get a competent 16MP selfie camera up front. This phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, which is quite powerful for the segment, and you can get its 6GB RAM and 128GB (expandable) internal storage variant in this budget.
Another standout feature of the Realme Narzo 70 5G is its 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness. The phone has a 5000 mAh battery that lasts over a day and a half of moderate use, and the bundled 45W SuperVOOC charger claims to charge 50% of it in just 27 minutes. The Narzo 70 5G runs the latest Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0.

Motorola G64 5G
The Motorola G54 5G is another excellent option in this budget and is packed with some impressive features, some of which aren’t too common in this price bracket. This phone too has a 50MP primary camera at the back, but it has OIS too, which is a luxury in this budget. Giving it company is an 8MP ultrawide camera with auto-focus, which doubles up as a macro camera, thus covering extra bases in the photography department. A 16MP front camera does a good job with selfies and video calls.
You get a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate for a flicker-free experience. The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G might be close to a year old but is a great all-round option at its current selling price. You get a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits peak brightness. It is protected against scratches by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Just like the Motorola phone above, it flaunts a 50MP primary camera with OIS. Support cast features an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. You also get a decent 13MP selfie camera up front.
The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G is powered by an Exynos 1280 SoC and you get 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage to go with it. The storage can be expanded further with a microSD card. A 6000 mAh battery keeps the phone powered for close to two days of moderate use. The company doesn’t bundle a charger along and you will need to spend a few bucks more if you don’t have one already. The phone runs Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI 5.1 and is upgradeable to Android 14 with One UI 6, and some more.

The new iQOO Z9x 5G is another good phone that offers a nice mix of features for its asking price. It claims to be the slimmest phone in the market (under 8 mm in thickness) to have a 6000 mAh battery that keeps it powered for close to two days of moderate use. Even better, the company bundles a 44W fast charger to recharge it briskly. The phone runs Android 14 with FunTouch OS, and the company has promised two more years of OS updates and three years of security updates.
The iQOO Z9x 5G sports a sizable 6.72-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits peak brightness. This phone is powered by a potent Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip and you get 6GB RAM and 128GB internal (expandable) storage with it. The Z9x has a 50MP primary camera with PDAF and a 2MP depth sensor for assisting it in portrait photography. An 8MP front camera takes care of selfies and video calls.
