Gigabyte has made some rather interesting launches in the Indian gaming laptop market with the introduction of its latest offerings, the Aorus 16X and G6X series. These laptops are not just about raw gaming power but also integrate advanced technologies aimed at enhancing both gaming experiences and productivity tasks using artificial intelligence (AI).

One of the standout features of these new models is the inclusion of Microsoft CoPilot and Gigabyte’s proprietary AI Nexus technology. These capabilities are specifically tailored to handle complex AI tasks and generative AI applications efficiently, reflecting Gigabyte’s push towards integrating cutting-edge technologies into their gaming products.

Specifications and features
The Aorus 16X laptops feature a high-resolution 16-inch WQXGA display with a refresh rate of 165Hz, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and certifications from TÜV Rheinland for eye comfort and Pantone for colour accuracy.

This combination promises not only smooth gameplay but also vibrant and accurate visuals, crucial for gamers and content creators alike. On the other hand, the Gigabyte G6X series comes with a 16-inch WUXGA display offering similar refresh rates and aspect ratios, catering to a slightly different segment of users.

Meanwhile, the Gigabyte G6X laptops are equipped with Intel Core i7 processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPUs, providing robust performance suitable for a wide range of tasks.

In terms of audiovisual capabilities, the Aorus 16X laptops support Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision technologies, enhancing both audio immersion and visual fidelity during gaming sessions and multimedia consumption.

Design-wise, the Aorus 16X models come with 3-zone RGB backlit keyboards, allowing users to customize their lighting preferences for a personalized gaming setup. In contrast, the G6X variants feature 1-zone RGB backlit keyboards, providing a simpler yet stylish lighting option.

Connectivity options on these laptops are also impressive, featuring Wi-Fi 7 for high-speed wireless internet and Bluetooth 5.4 for seamless connectivity with peripherals and accessories. Battery life is addressed with a substantial 99Wh battery capacity, supporting 100W PD charging to quickly recharge the device when needed. For power supply, Gigabyte provides up to 240W AC adapters to ensure consistent performance even during intensive use.

Pricing and colour options
Gigabyte has positioned the Aorus 16X and G6X series competitively in the Indian market, with prices ranging from Rs. 96,999 to Rs. 1,89,999. The exact pricing for each variant within this range is yet to be disclosed, but the laptops are slated to be available for purchase from July onwards through online platforms and offline retail stores across India.
